is currently seeking an Information Technology - Engineer Embedded Software 3 for our client at location San Diego, California, United States Onsite.

Job Description

The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, integrate, and test software for cryptographic or software-defined radio infrastructure utilizing embedded and real-time systems development tools. Duties include working within an Agile environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, Systems Engineering, Hardware Integration & Test, and analyzing system capabilities to resolve programming and control issues.

This role requires proficiency in CC and Object-Oriented programming with experience integrating low-level firmwaresoftware in complex real-time multi-threaded embedded applications. The ideal candidate will be experienced in all phases of the formal software lifecycle, use tools like Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and develop/debug embedded real-time systems while applying static analysis and unit testing.

Skills

• Proficient in CC and Object-Oriented programming • Experience with the full software lifecycle process, requirements to testing • Experience integrating firmwaresoftware in real-time multi-threaded embedded applications • Experience developing and debugging embedded real-time systems • Familiarity with Static Analysis and Unit Testing • Experience using Jira, Bitbucket, Git, and Agile processes • Experience with Software Defined Radios • Preferred experience with Xilinx platforms, Zynq Ultrascale, VERSAL • Preferred experience with communication protocols I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, Ethernet • Preferred experience implementing cryptographic mechanisms • Preferred DoD Secret clearance
