Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement control algorithms using MATLAB and Simulink
- Perform model-based design for embedded control systems
- Develop and maintain control software for automotive applications
- Translate control requirements into functional software behavior
- Support testing, validation, and integration of control software
- Clearly articulate the control functions developed, including what the software does and how it interacts with the system
Required Qualifications- 3+ years of experience in controls design and implementation
- Strong hands-on experience with MATLAB and Simulink
- Background in automotive or off-highway vehicle systems
- Experience developing embedded control software (model-based development)
- Ability to explain control logic, algorithms, and system behavior clearly
Preferred Experience- Experience working on engine, powertrain, hydraulics, or vehicle controls
- Familiarity with embedded systems and control validation processes
- Prior experience supporting production or fielded systems
