Job Title: Embedded C++ Developer Remote
Employment Type: Contract
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Developer with strong expertise in embedded firmware driver development, PC-to-controller communication, and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing software drivers, embedded test environments, and automation tools that integrate hardware, firmware, and software systems.
This role requires strong programming skills in C++, C, Java, Python, and C#, along with experience working with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and automation platforms.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in embedded software development, test automation, or related engineering roles.
  • Strong experience with C++ coding and embedded firmware driver development.
  • Hands-on experience developing PC-to-controller communication drivers.
  • Experience working with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware/software integration.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including C++, C, Python, Java, and C#.
  • Experience developing and maintaining embedded firmware test automation environments.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and QA engineering practices.
  • Experience with GUI application development using Java.
  • Experience developing C++ based DLLs and communication tools.
  • Experience creating drivers using C++, C#, or Java for communication between PCs and embedded controllers.
  • Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
  • Experience integrating automation tools with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and cloud platforms like AWS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with firmware, software, and hardware interactions.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
