Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Email Marketing Specialist. This role will focus on creating, managing, and optimizing email campaigns to drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention for a growing U.S.-based organization.

The Email Marketing Specialist will work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to execute email campaigns, analyze performance, and improve customer communication strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and execute email marketing campaigns
  • Write and edit email copy for promotions, newsletters, and lifecycle campaigns
  • Build emails using marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Segment audiences and manage email lists
  • Monitor campaign performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions)
  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, and timing
  • Collaborate with design teams on email layouts and visuals
  • Maintain email calendars and campaign schedules
  • Ensure emails align with brand voice and messaging
  • Optimize campaigns for deliverability and engagement
  • Analyze data and provide performance reports and insights
  • Stay updated on email marketing trends and best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • 0–2 years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, or related roles
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Basic understanding of email marketing metrics and performance tracking
  • Familiarity with email platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Analytical mindset with a creative approach
