Description

A well-established retail organization is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to support the execution of customer email campaigns. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career marketing professional who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in gaining hands-on experience with email marketing, e-commerce, and customer engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with building, scheduling, and launching promotional and customer-focused email campaigns.
  • Coordinate email content, promotional messaging, product information, images, and links.
  • Review and proofread emails for accuracy, formatting, grammar, and brand consistency.
  • Test emails across devices and platforms to ensure links, images, and layouts function correctly.
  • Support audience segmentation and campaign setup within the email marketing platform.
  • Maintain email calendars, project timelines, and campaign documentation.
  • Partner with marketing, creative, merchandising, and e-commerce teams to gather campaign materials.
  • Monitor basic performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
  • Assist with campaign reporting and identify opportunities to improve engagement.
  • Follow email marketing best practices and established quality-control processes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Internship, academic, or professional experience in marketing, digital communications, retail, or e-commerce is helpful.
  • Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or a similar system is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, Microsoft Excel, or digital analytics is preferred but not required.
  • Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
