Shift: 07:00 PM To 07:30 AM - Day Shift - 12 Hours Rotational Shift - 2 Days on - 2 days off - 3 Days On - 3 Days off
Summary
Environmental Monitoring (EM) Core Technician responsible for conducting environmental monitoring activities supporting GMP production and aseptic processing of clinical-grade products. The role also involves cleanroom setup, stocking, equipment operation, documentation, and supporting routine clinical production.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Environmental Monitoring (EM) activities as part of GMP production of viral therapies.
- Perform cell culture and product purification using aseptic techniques when required.
- Coordinate EM equipment needs with the QC EM team for manufacturing processes.
- Draft, complete, and revise manufacturing documents, including Batch Records and EM forms.
- Prepare buffers and components, including operation of steam autoclaves.
- Operate manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment supporting routine clinical production.
- Operate environmental monitoring equipment such as Solairs, ApexZ50, and active counters.
- Maintain, stock, and set up cleanroom environments.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences preferred.
- High School Diploma with intermediate laboratory experience in a cGMP clinical production environment.
- Basic laboratory experience with a Bachelor's Degree or intermediate laboratory experience.
- 1 3 years of relevant experience.
- Laboratory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP and aseptic techniques.
- Experience with environmental monitoring equipment preferred.
- Ability to prepare buffers and components and operate steam autoclaves.
- Ability to accurately complete GMP manufacturing documentation, including Batch Records and EM forms.
- Ability to operate manual, semi-automated, and automated production equipment.
