Position Title: ELSUR Collection Systems Database Engineer
Quantico, VA - ONSITE
Security: Top Secret clearance
Job Description:
Supports database systems, to include patching, performance monitoring, server management, and systems administration. Ensures database availability and data integrity. Coordinate security patches as needed to comply with overall security guidelines. This responsibility includes supporting both development and production systems. Tests, debugs, and refines database platforms, both SQL and no SQL. Provides recommendations for enhancements, updates database as required, and troubleshoots issues.
Job Requirements:
1 year experience supporting ELSUR systems database engineering
Experience with SQL and NoSQL
Proficient expereince with current database management tools, technologies, and application design using database management languages.
Experience troubleshooting and documentation of database operations
Experience ensuring data security, data integrity, and data availability for operational systems.
Experience with Mongo DB databases utilizing OPS manager is highly desired
Senior or SME levels must have recent leadership experience
Education:
BS degree in Software Engineering or related field; plus years of experience. Masters degree qualifies as 2 years of experience, Ph. Degree qualifies as 4 years experience.
