Overview
A leading provider of critical environment management solutions is seeking an entry-level Cleaning Technician to support mission-critical facilities including data centers, cleanrooms, and life sciences environments. This role helps maintain clean, safe, and compliant spaces that protect sensitive equipment and support operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Properly use tools, equipment, and cleaning materials
- Report unsafe conditions immediately
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations such as spills, fires, or evacuations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Complete assigned work efficiently and on schedule
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Obtain OSHA 10 certification within six months of employment
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read and speak English at a basic level
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Comfortable with schedule changes and flexible work hours
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when needed
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and repetitive hand movement
- Ability to work from ladders or lifts when necessary
- Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry heavy materials or equipment
- Strong close-up and distance vision, including depth perception and focus adjustment
