As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a part-time ESOL-endorsed English Language Learner (ELL) Teacher to provide virtual services for charter school students in Oregon. This position is for the current school year.
ELL Teacher Salary: $36-$40 per hour
ELL Teacher Position Details:
- Part-Time
- Must be available during school hours
- Program starts in early September
- Grades 6-12
- Small caseload to start, may grow with enrollment increase
ELL Teacher Qualification(s):
- Must have State License through Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC)
- Must have Official English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) endorsement
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
ELL Teacher Responsibilities May Include:
- Implementing specially designed instruction to drive student achievement
- Conducting progress monitoring data and adjusting instruction based on the data
- Establishing a positive, structured, achievement-focused classroom
- Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
- Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
- Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
- Participating in multidisciplinary meetings
