    Eligibility & Enrollment Specialist


    Job Summary


    Provides administrative and customer service support to agents, applicants, and members regarding eligibility and enrollment for individual products. Processes applications and change requests that do not require medical underwriting and coordinates with Underwriting on applications requiring review. This is a customer-facing role.

    Responsibilities

    • Process assigned applications and enrollment change requests.

    • Support agents, applicants, and members with eligibility and enrollment inquiries.

    • Coordinate with Underwriting on applications requiring medical review.

    • Conduct pre-underwriting research and develop application information for review.

    • Deliver professional customer service through clear and courteous communication.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent.

    • At least two years of experience in a specialized customer service environment.

    • Alternatively, at least 48 college credit hours and one year of experience in a specialized customer service environment.

    • Successful completion of a customer service proficiency assessment.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

    • Ability to work independently.
