Description

Job Title: Eligibility Paralegal Specialist

Duration:  12+ months

Work Hours: Between hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm; Lunch period: 1 hour TBD

 

Job Description:

  • Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s): Computer/laptop
  • Computer software to be used: MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint, Adobe Pro.

 

Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience:

  • Experience independently managing a caseload to meet established time frames.
  • Considerable work-related experience applying rules to facts to reach logical, legally supportable conclusions.
  • Knowledge of administrative law and/or appeals procedures.
  • Considerable knowledge of legal research methodologies, including computerized legal research.
  • Considerable experience with technology, including MS Office.
  • Considerable experience interpreting, applying, and analyzing federal and state complex laws, regulations, policies, or case law.
  • Experience in meeting deadlines.
  • Experience with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Considerable experience in legal analysis and legal writing.

  • Demonstrated experience in independently managing a caseload within established timeframes.
  • Significant work-related experience applying rules to facts to reach logical, legally supportable conclusions.
  • Knowledge of administrative law and/or appeals procedures.
    Strong knowledge of legal research methodologies, including computerized legal research.
  • Proficiency with technology, including MS Office applications.
  • Extensive experience interpreting, applying, and analyzing complex federal and state laws, regulations, policies, or case law.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Considerable expertise in legal analysis and legal writing.
  • Valid Driver's License, clean driving record, and ability to drive and navigate through downtown traffic
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
