A growing healthcare organization is seeking an Eligibility Coordinator to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with healthcare insurance verification experience who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working in a collaborative, patient focused environment.
What You'll Do
- Verify Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance eligibility and benefits
- Complete benefit verification and authorization requirements
- Set up reimbursors and maintain accurate patient accounts
- Process subsidy assistance applications
- Research and resolve eligibility discrepancies
- Communicate with payors and internal teams as needed
What You'll Need
- Associate degree preferred or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of healthcare insurance verification and authorization experience
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payors, Workers' Compensation, and Medicare Replacement plans
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and ability to manage multiple priorities
