    Elevate Tampa Bay Abbreviated

Elevate USA's AmeriCorps program places members within Elevate affiliates across the country to support youth through education, mentoring, leadership development, and community engagement. Elevate serves students through a relationship-based model that combines accredited in-school classes with mentoring outside of the school day, adventure and enrichment activities, college and career readiness, and family engagement. Full-Time AmeriCorps Members serve alongside Elevate Teacher-Mentors in schools and communities. Members support classroom instruction, mentor students individually and in small groups, assist with college and career readiness activities, participate in recreational and adventure experiences, support family engagement, and help students build leadership, life, and workforce-readiness skills. Members develop consistent relationships with students and provide additional capacity for Elevate affiliates to reach and support youth throughout the school year and summer. Abbreviated-Time Members serve 100 hours and are often current or former Elevate students. They support Teacher-Mentors with elementary and middle school programming, mentoring, recreational and adventure activities, weekend and summer programs, and family engagement. These members serve as positive peer role models while developing their own leadership and career-readiness skills. Through AmeriCorps service, members strengthen Elevate's ability to build long-term relationships with youth while gaining hands-on experience in mentoring, education, leadership, and community service. Members also participate in training, professional development, and National Days of Service as part of their AmeriCorps experience. Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.
