Position Summary

Essential Duties

Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to support learning and development

Use student data to inform instruction and adjust practices to meet individual needs

Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction in literacy and mathematics

Implement authentic literacy practices that support student growth and comprehension

Create a positive, structured classroom environment with strong classroom management

Build meaningful relationships with students and maintain a belief in the success of all learners

Differentiate instruction to meet students where they are and move them forward

Communicate student progress regularly and clearly with families

Integrate technology in purposeful ways to enhance student learning

Contribute to a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement and student success

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Education

Valid Michigan teaching certificate; certified in Elementary Education
