Elementary Teacher - Grade 3

The Alma School District is accepting applications for a full time Elementary Teacher. This posting is currently for a 3rd grade teaching position and ( 3-5 ELA departmentalization). Qualifications:

• Valid elementary teaching license issued by the WI Department of Education

• (Reading Specialist (1316) issued by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction preferred, or a demonstrated background in evidence-based reading instruction

• Ability to design and execute comprehensive lesson plans for 3-5 ELA core curriculum aligned with Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction state standards

• Delivery of engaging, standards-aligned instruction in core subject areas, adapting strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and academic abilities

• Ability to utilize both formative and summative assessments to evaluate student performance, leveraging data to drive targeted interventions and foster measurable learning outcomes in ELA

• One who maintains strong, proactive communication with parents, staff, and community members to build a collaborative support network for student success

• Ability to create and implement innovative learning opportunities and interactive projects to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and active student engagement

• Excellent organizational skills, as well as oral and written communication skills

• Willingness to explore and create new opportunities for students
