Are you a Special Education Teacher who enjoys creating structured, supportive classrooms for students with diverse learning needs?
Join an Illinois elementary school as a temporary Special Education Teacher supporting young learners in grades K–2 who require individualized and specialized educational services.
This 35-hour-per-week position begins August 11, 2026, and is scheduled through September 23, 2026, with the possibility of an extension. The teacher will support approximately four students with multiple needs in a primarily self-contained classroom. Some students will participate in general education settings for part of the school day, with paraprofessional support available.

Requirements
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) endorsement required.
- Special Education teaching certification appropriate for the assignment.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education, Education, or a related field.
