Duties
United West Elementary School is seeking a dedicated, visionary, and compassionate educational leader to serve as the Elementary Principal (PK-3). The Principal will serve as the chief instructional leader and administrator for the early childhood and primary grade levels, fostering a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of early childhood pedagogy, foundational literacy and numeracy development, positive behavior support systems, and collaborative school leadership.
Qualifications
Education: Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Certification: Valid State Administrative License/Certificate
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of successful teaching experience in an early childhood or elementary setting (PK-3 preferred).
Key Skills: Strong knowledge of early childhood development, structured literacy instruction, MTSS frameworks, excellent written/verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
