This long-term replacement position is anticipated to run from January 4, 2027, through June 30, 2027. The successful candidate will provide engaging, hands-on STEAM instruction that promotes creativity, problem-solving, collaboration, and student curiosity in a collaborative and caring school community.ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver inquiry-based, hands-on STEAM learning experiences aligned with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards.Engage students in engineering design, makerspace learning, and technology-integrated projects.Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment.Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, the instructional team, and administration to support schoolwide learning goals.Analyze student-performance and growth data, including district assessment data, to inform instruction, identify areas for targeted support, and help prepare students for applicable standardized assessments.Monitor student learning and adjust instruction as appropriate.QualificationsValid New Jersey Elementary School Teacher certification required.STEM (1107), science, technology, engineering, robotics, coding, or makerspace experience preferred.Strong classroom-management, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative teaching environment.Salary Range: $67,815 - $71,415Salary & Benefits: *Per negotiated contract based on years of experience & degrees earnedPosted: October 6, 2026Closing Date: October 20, 2026 About Our DistrictLocated in Monmouth County, NJ, Millstone Township School District is a close-knit, dynamic PreK8 public school system serving approximately 1,100 students across three schools.
