    Description

    St. Thomas Aquinas School in East Lansing is accepting applications for a full time elementary paraprofessional. 
     
    The paraprofessional provides support for the instructional program including but not limited to assistance with student supervision, classroom preparation, clerical help, and lunchroom/playground duties.  
     
    Candidates must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma, preferably with childcare experience and must be someone who is dependable, responsible, team-oriented character and has a passion for working with children of all developmental levels. The paraprofessional will assist the lead teacher in promoting emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth for our students.   
     
    The following items are general expectations for this role:
    • Be a positive representative of the school and the faith community.
    • Follow confidentiality requirements regarding children and families. 
    • Complete background check, complete Virtus Protecting God’s Children certification, and any other training as required.
