DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic and tech-savvy Elementary Educational Technology Teacher to lead students
in developing foundational digital literacy and responsible technology use. This role supports 21st-century
learning by integrating technology into core subjects and fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-
solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a valid Michigan teaching certificate with an endorsement in Elementary Education
- Preferred endorsement in Educational Technology (NP) or Computer Science (NR)
- Evidence of content knowledge and skills
- Familiarity with Michigan's Educational Technology Standards and ISTE Standards
- Proficiency with Google Workspace for Education, coding platforms (e.g., Scratch, Code.org), and
digital citizenship curricula
- Competency in student management and supervision
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach age-appropriate technology lessons including keyboarding, coding, internet safety, and
media literacy
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate digital tools into daily instruction
- Promote responsible digital citizenship and ethical technology use
- Maintain and manage classroom technology resources
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress
- Participate in professional development and district-wide tech initiatives
