Job Description:

The School District of Bonduel is seeking a positive, compassionate, and highly motivated Elementary Educational Assistant (paraprofessional) in the general education setting for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Applicants should have a passion for creating a supportive learning environment and working as part of a dynamic, knowledgeable team of professionals to support the development of our learners.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Person is pursuing or has obtained teaching license preferred but not required
  • Can pick up on instructions from teachers quickly
  • Confidence making instructional decisions while working with children
  • Successful experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Effective communication skills with children and colleagues
  • Collaborative with teachers to work toward common goals
  • Knowledge of math and literacy instructional practices
  • Compassion and experience working with students with neurodiverse students
  • Passion for working with students
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to be flexible and shift when schedule changes are needed
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication
