Direct instructional relationship with the students 2. Carry out the laws and policies of the state and county relating to education, including the rules pertaining to the welfare of the student3. Work closely with the principal in planning and implementing an excellent learning experience for students in a classroom setting4. Evaluate the progress of students5. Develop materials to be used with the elementary program6. Perform other duties as assigned by the principalQualifications:1. A valid WV Teacher Certification, Licensure, and/or Both in Elementary Education2. Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job descriptionWorking Conditions:Physical Requirements1. Be able to impart information and orally communicate with students, families and others.2. Be able to understand and respond to oral communications and directions.3. Be able to read, write, understand and respond to written instructions, communications and materials.4. When supervising a group of students, have the capacity to ensure the safety of, observe, supervise and assess all situations involving a student, a group of students and co-workers.5.
