Elementary Behavior Interventionist / Building PBIS Coordinator Deadline: June 1, 2026 District/Organization: Whitehall District Schools Position/Type: Teacher, full time Salary: Per Contract Position Details Elementary Behavior Interventionist/Building PBIS Coordinator (2026-2027 School Year) Post Date: April 2026 Application Deadline: Until filled Position Summary Whitehall District Schools is seeking a student-centered educator to support behavior and culture at the elementary level. This role focuses on proactively teaching expectations, supporting students through targeted interventions, and working alongside staff to create a positive and consistent learning environment. The individual will also play a key role in strengthening our PBIS and MTSS systems through data-driven decision making. Essential Duties Provide targeted behavior support for students through small groups and individualized interventions (Lunch Bunch, social skills groups, etc.) Help develop, implement, and monitor proactive behavior supports and intervention plans Analyze behavior data (PowerSchool, SWIS, Panorama) to identify trends and adjust supports Coordinate and support Tier 2 intervention systems, including data review meetings Collaborate with building leadership and staff to strengthen PBIS implementation Lead and support the school-wide PBIS team Support staff with Tier 1 classroom strategies, including coaching and modeling (CHAMPS or similar frameworks) Assist in teaching and reinforcing school-wide expectations and recognizing positive behavior Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and student progress Build strong, positive relationships with students, especially those who may struggle in a traditional classroom setting Engage in ongoing learning related to PBIS, MTSS, trauma-informed practices, and restorative approaches Education/Experience Bachelors degree or higher in the area of education (or working toward) Possession of Teaching Certificate (or working toward) Experience implementing/leading a school wide PBIS program TCIS Certified (or willingness to be trained) Compensation Per Teacher Contract * School Year Schedule How to Apply Individuals interested in applying for this position should email their letter of interest, resume and references to: Kirsten Bolles at kirstenbolles@whitehallschools.net.
