    POSITION DETAILS:

    The Assistant Principal supports the overall administration of the school serving grades Pre-K - 6, working collaboratively with the principal and staff to promote a safe, positive, and effective learning environment. Responsibilities include supporting instruction, student services, school operations, and family/community engagement.

    • Full-time administrative position (1.00 FTE)
    • Start date: to be determined
    • Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Valid and appropriate Indiana Administrator's License or ability to obtain
    • Master's degree required
    • Minimum of three years of teaching experience
    • One to two years of teacher-leadership experience preferred

    PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE

    • Strong instructional background and understanding of best practices
    • Evidence of data use to inform decisions and improve student outcomes
    • Demonstrated ability to work closely with various socioeconomic and/or cultural populations
    • Understanding of, and commitment to, supporting Dual Language Immersion programming and cross-cultural competence among students
    • Experience with MTSS, Special Education, and student support services
    • Experience supporting diverse learners, including English language learners
    • Experience with supervision, staff support, and professional growth
    • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with students, staff, families, and community partners
    • Knowledge of current educational research and practices
    • Demonstrated leadership aligned to corporation goals and initiatives
