Join Our Team! RIE is looking for a dependable, hardworking Electropolish Operator to join our metal finishing team. If you enjoy hands-on work, take pride in producing high-quality products, and want to build a career in manufacturing, we'd love to hear from you. Previous experience in plating, electropolishing, metal finishing, or manufacturing is a plus-but it's not required. We provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn. What You'll DoAs an Electropolish Operator, you'll play an important role in producing quality metal-finished products for customers in a variety of industries. Your responsibilities will include:Rack, mask, clean, rinse, and inspect parts for processingOperate and monitor plating equipment and production linesFollow established process instructions and adjust equipment as requiredInspect parts before and after processing to ensure quality standards are metRecord production information and process data accuratelyMaintain required production and quality documentationWork closely with teammates to meet production schedulesFollow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)Keep your work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazardsAssist with other production duties as assigned What We're Looking ForStrong work ethic and dependable attendanceWillingness to learn new skills and follow established proceduresAbility to read, write, and understand written and verbal instructionsGood attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentManufacturing or metal finishing experience is preferred but not required Physical RequirementsThis position requires the ability to:Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 poundsOccasionally lift up to 65 pounds and rarely up to 75 poundsStand and walk for extended periodsBend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftMaintain good hand-eye coordination and visual attention to detailWork around chemicals, coatings, and varying temperatures in a manufacturing environment Hours: Monday through Thursday, 6am – 3:30pm and Fridays, 6am – 2pmOvertime: Occasional overtime may be needed on a Saturday.Pay: $17.00 per hour to start, consideration for a higher starting rate given to those with experience.Bonus: $1500 sign-on/retention bonus, plus quarterly bonuses based on achievement of production goals.Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and other benefits available plus 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, paid personal time off, annual safety shoe reimbursement, prescription safety eyewear reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, and a great team of coworkers! If you're looking for a career where your work makes a difference and you're a part of a team that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement, apply today!
