Electrophysiology Registered Nurse - Contract

Title: EP RN – Electrophysiology Lab
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 3×12-hour shifts — 36 hrs/week

• Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts

• Shift: Primarily Days; some late evenings, holidays & Call per unit needs

• Experience: 2 years required

• License:NY RN License ONLY

• Certification:BLS – AHA ONLY

• Required:Epic experience – REQUIRED

• Moderate Sedation: RN must be proficient

• Role: Primary RN / Circulator

• Responsibilities: Patient assessment, medication/safety review, medication administration, moderate sedation, clinical documentation, patient monitoring, communication & coordination of care

• Circulator Duties: Room setup/turnover, obtain/open sterile supplies, pull equipment, maintain fluids/supplies, assist with sterile tables and equipment preparation

• Team Coordination: Work with EP physician, Anesthesia, APPs, Charge Nurse, vendors and procedural staff

• Preferred: Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience

• Procedures: PFA/RF/Cryo ablations, AF/Aflutter, atrial tach, AVNRT, WPW, pacemakers, ICDs, Sub-Q ICD, leadless PPM, loop recorders, Watchman & Amulet

• Device Scrub: Not required
