Electronics Touch-Up Solder THT & SMT 1st shift - $23-$25hr

Inspects, Repairs, and fixes printed circuit boards (PCBs)
Job Duties:
o Solder surface mount (SMT) and through-hole components.
o Examine joints under magnification or microscopes to find and fix cold joints, bridges, or excess
solder.
o Perform visual inspection of PCB’s for IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.
o Fix or replace damaged components on assembled circuit boards.
o Follow process documentation, assembly drawings, and BOM
o Follow safe ESD (electrostatic discharge) rules to protect parts.
o Keep work areas clean and tools in good shape.
o Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
o Experience soldering surface mount and through-hole components.
o IPC 610 & JSTD certified (ok if expired)
o Experience inspecting surface mount and through hole solder per IPC-A-610 workmanship
requirements.
o Good working knowledge of ESD and IPC-A-610 workmanship requirements.
o Expected to read and comprehend process documentation including Bills of Materials and
Assembly drawings.
o Expected to communicate well in English both verbally and in written format.
o Component Identification Ability required.
o Candidates should be very organized with the ability to keep count of parts.
o Candidates should have the ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
o This position requires a minimum of three years’ experience performing these skills.
