Job Title: Debug Technician
Location: Memphis, TN

Shift: 2:30 PM 11:00 PM

Travel Requirement:
This position will convert to a Flex full-time employee after approximately 6 months. Prior to starting in Memphis, selected candidates must be available to travel to Guadalajara, Mexico, for 60 days of on-the-job training. All travel and logistics will be arranged by company.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Debug Technician responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical and electrical assemblies within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong PCB/PCBA debugging experience and the ability to support manufacturing operations through technical expertise and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies down to the component level.
  • Perform diagnostics using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes and other specialized testing instruments.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to resolve functionality issues and update troubleshooting procedures.
  • Train new build and service assemblers on debugging processes and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain debug guides for PCBA troubleshooting.
  • Provide PCBA debugging training and technical guidance to fellow Debug Technicians.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications, and other manufacturing documentation.
  • Monitor production performance by tracking yields and equipment cycle times.
  • Support the installation, debugging, qualification, and validation of manufacturing process equipment.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures, reporting any unsafe conditions to management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing PCBAs to the component level.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or electronics production environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
