Electronic Technician
Summary: Responsible for maintaining electrical components such as Data Acquisition Systems, control systems for fracturing equipment, and all of the cabling in each system used on fracturing equipment.
Responsibilities:• Perform test, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on electric and electro-mechanical equipment used to monitor/control equipment• Create and maintain a checklist of all systems• Learn the disciplines of equipment rig ups, rig downs, and other functions of the job• Comply with all safety rules and company policies
Skills: • Strong attention to detail• Strong problem-solving skills• Able to work independently and stay on task• Able to work under pressure and perform work on timely basis• Able to work with precision instruments and small components• Possess basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Education: • A two-year technical diploma or certificate preferred, but not required, with past work history in electrical or electronics field
WorkExperience: • Two years of experience preferred, but not required, with electrical or electronics diploma or certificate
Environment:• Able to work in a team environment• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions• Must be able to work at various heights, in confined spaces and climb stairs
