    Description

    OVERVIEW: The Electronic Service Technician is responsible for installing and repairing electronic equipment on boats at their location and at off site locations and marinas.

    KEY TASKS:

    • Install electronics on vessels
    • Accurately diagnose and repair electronics
    • Safely operate customer vessel during diagnostic water testing
    • Ensure all warranty repairs are completed according to manufacturers and MarineMax guidelines
    • Inspect boats, prepare and itemize estimate listing parts and labor
    • Complete repair work utilizing service scheduler and SSO's within the established timeframe
    • Maintain and secure inventory and tools on company vehicles at all times
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by arriving for service calls in a timely manner and presenting a professional picture of MarineMax
    • Follow-up with customer to ensure complete satisfaction
    • Maintain effective communication with the service and parts departments
    • Ensure professional and clean appearance of company vehicles
    • Safely operate company vehicle and remain within posted speed limits
    • Maintain a safe driving record
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Timely and accurate completion of work
    • Professional Appearance of company tools and vehicles
    • Error-free work orders
    • Effective communication with other MarineMax departments
