Description
OVERVIEW: The Electronic Service Technician is responsible for installing and repairing electronic equipment on boats at their location and at off site locations and marinas.
KEY TASKS:
Install electronics on vessels
Accurately diagnose and repair electronics
Safely operate customer vessel during diagnostic water testing
Ensure all warranty repairs are completed according to manufacturers and MarineMax guidelines
Inspect boats, prepare and itemize estimate listing parts and labor
Complete repair work utilizing service scheduler and SSO's within the established timeframe
Maintain and secure inventory and tools on company vehicles at all times
Ensure customer satisfaction by arriving for service calls in a timely manner and presenting a professional picture of MarineMax
Follow-up with customer to ensure complete satisfaction
Maintain effective communication with the service and parts departments
Ensure professional and clean appearance of company vehicles
Safely operate company vehicle and remain within posted speed limits
Maintain a safe driving record
Other duties as assigned
