We're hiring an experienced Electronics Repair Technician for a direct hire, permanent opportunity with a stable and growing company. This position is ideal for someone with strong soldering skills and hands-on experience troubleshooting electronic components at the board level.
What You'll Do
- Install and remove electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Perform through-hole and surface mount soldering and rework
- Troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the component level
- Use digital multimeters to test and verify repairs
- Inspect solder joints and repair defects as needed
- Follow work instructions, quality standards, and documentation procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, ESD-safe work environment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of through-hole and surface mount soldering experience
- Component-level troubleshooting experience
- Ability to use a digital multimeter for diagnostics
- Knowledge of electronic components, polarity, and PCB assembly
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC soldering certification
- Oscilloscope experience
- Previous electronics repair, manufacturing, or PCB assembly experience
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
- Overtime available
- At least one Saturday per month is required
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing and repetitive hand movement
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
