Electronics Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist (IPC/PCB)

Join our team as the go-to Quality Control Specialist ensuring every assembly meets rigorous industry standards and our internal QMS. If you thrive on precision and collaboration, this role puts you at the heart of production quality.

Your impact

• Perform inspection audits and document results in line with QMS requirements.
• Execute incoming, in-process, and final inspections of assemblies to industry standards.
• Validate process and set-up conditions before and during production.
• Confirm workmanship compliance to IPC criteria and print specifications.
• Trace cable and harness routing against wiring diagrams; verify terminations.
• Inspect PCB circuitry for shorts, opens, excess/missing solder, scratches, cracks, and layout issues.
• Identify soldering defects in joints, wires, and cables.
• Measure and verify alignment/dimensions; flag chips, scratches, and pinholes.
• Use magnification to detect fine defects that aren’t visible to the naked eye.
• Complete first-piece inspections against BOM data.
• Approve repairs and perform re-inspection; escalate to Production and Quality Managers when needed.
• Coordinate disposition of in-process nonconforming materials.
• Partner with the production team to provide timely feedback and help resolve nonconformities and other tasks assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.

What sets you up for success

• Proficiency in IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD.
• Working knowledge of ISO 13485.
• Strong understanding of PCB components and assembly.
• Experience with 5 Why root-cause analysis.
• Clear communication and effective teamwork.
