Job Description: Design a propulsion controller to be used for production. The team is around 10 people, engineers and designers, developing every circuit within the controller and circuit board. This is a brand new team just recently created to support this new initiative.Required Skills:Ability to solder small electrical components (e.g. 0805, 0402, etc.)Experience with hot air reflow (e.g. IC replacement)Assist engineers in root causing failed electrical componentsFamiliarity with bench lab equipment - Power supplies, oscilloscopes, load boxes, flash toolsAbility to create (design and build) wire harnessesBuild Test Boxes / Breakout boardsMechanical assembly (hand tools) - ability to assemble and disassemble controllersAbility to multitask and clearly document status per controllerPreferred Skills:Can follow Schematic MarkupPrinted circuit board (PCB) check out and visual inspectionsEducation/Experience:Education requirement - Associates Degree preferred but not required.
