Pay: $16.50-$18.00 /hour
Schedule: 1st Shift
Location: Wooster, Ohio
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | Eligible for permanent placement after 480 hours (60-days)

Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Electronics Assembly Technicians in Wooster for a hands-on opportunity assembling, wiring, inspecting, and testing electronic products and components. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys detailed work, working with their hands, and seeing a finished product come together.

What You'll Do

• Assemble electronic components and sub-assemblies
• Complete basic wiring and cable assembly
• Install components into finished units
• Visually inspect parts before and during assembly
• Test completed assemblies for proper operation
• Assist with basic service and repair of returned products
• Update production information using a computerized system
• Follow established assembly and quality procedures

What You'll Need

• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to follow assembly instructions and established procedures
• Comfort working with small parts, wiring, and electronic components
• Basic computer skills and ability to accurately enter production information
• Ability to inspect finished work for quality
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn
• Previous electronics assembly, manufacturing, wiring, repair, or other detailed hands-on experience is helpful, but not required
