Electronics Assembly Technician
InkSpace Imaging's vision is to transform the MRI experience for every patient by providing superior
comfort and performance at lower cost with nonthreatening, patient-centered MRI receive coils that are customized to each patient.
We produce flexible and lightweight MRI receive coils for Diagnostic Imaging and need an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to help scale our production. We are looking for a highly self-motivated technician to join our growing team at our flexible electronics manufacturing facility in Pleasanton in the Tri-Valley of the Eastern San Francisco Bay area.
As an Electronic Assembly Technician, you will:
Assemble cables, PCB, and electrical connectors, into complex assemblies using specific written Manufacturing Work Instructions
Perform inspection of incoming material and in-process and finished product
Record accurate and detailed production information in Manufacturing Documentation
Provide regular updates on build schedule and downtime issues
Assist in the identification, implementation, and evaluation of process improvements to help increase productivity and efficiency rates
Maintain functionality of equipment by performing scheduled preventive maintenance
Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas
Maintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assembly area at all times
Qualifications:
4+ years electronics manufacturing environment. RF experience, preferred.
Experience with PCB or small electronic component assembly to be considered. Such operations may include, but are not limited, to:
Ability to use simple hand and machine tools to perform unique assembly processes.
Coaxial cable cutting, cable stripping, and connector crimping
Electronic component preparation
SMT hand-soldering
IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 background is a plus
Ability to count, measure, and perform basic mathematics
Ability to work on small parts (ability to work under magnification is a plus)
Ability to use precisions measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
Basic computer skills, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software
Positive communication skills with employees in all areas of manufacturing and supporting functions
Eligibility to work in the U.S.
Schedule:
8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
This is an on-site position.
