Electronic Warfare Engineer

The CEMA department at Leidos is seeking a entry-level Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer in Lawton, OK to support the design, development, test, and integration of Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) electronic support (ES) systems and techniques, including RF sensing and signal collection, jamming, characterization and signal processing under the guidance of senior engineering staff. In this role, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to analyze friendly and threat systems and develop solutions that support our customers' mission objectives.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and test of SIGINT electronic support (ES) systems, subsystems, and algorithms.
• Assist with analysis of RF/EW threat systems and development of detection techniques and technologies.
• Perform data collection, reduction and analysis in support of test campaigns.
• Support system integration, troubleshooting, verification, and validation testing of RF hardware and software under senior engineering supervision.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and reports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (RF, signal processing, software) to assist in delivering integrated solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Basic understanding of RF/Microwave theory, digital signal processing (DSP) and antenna fundamentals.
• Familiar with laboratory equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, Oscilloscopes).
• Familiar with SDRs.
• Familiar with GNU Radio, Sceptre, RedHawk.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python.
• Familiar with object-oriented programing in C++.
• Have good written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Must be living in or be willing to relocate to Lawton, OK or surrounding area.
• Must be willing to travel approx. 25% each year.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant coursework, internship, or capstone project in EW, RF systems, or signal processing.
• Experience with Window, Linux (Ubuntu or Red Hat).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
