Job Title: Electronic Technician Trainee

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Electronic Technician Trainee to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring on-time delivery of equipment, improving maintenance efficiency, and enhancing productivity within the Maintenance Base.
Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and comply with the reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
- Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials, supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history.
- Participate in continuous improvement culture, initiatives, and improvement plans to enhance asset utilization and cost of service delivery.
- Support failure investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform maintenance, testing, and repair of electronic and electromechanical equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues and conduct basic programming tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum: 2 years relevant experience, or equivalent education (2-year technical degree in electronics technology) / military maintenance background.
- Ability to use multimeters, basic hand tools, oscilloscopes, and measuring devices.
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate business systems.
- Basic understanding of electronics and some mechanical aptitude.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience with rotary steerable or similar oilfield equipment.
- Soldering experience (ISO certifications a plus but not required).
