Electronic Engineering Technician
Location :Torrance, CA -90504
Duration : 6 Months
Shift: 5am - 1:30pm PST
Introduction
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Engineering Technician. The role requires expertise in electro-mechanical systems, with a focus on analyzing blueprints and electrical schematics. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in improving efficiency and establishing standard production rates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in J-standard soldering techniques for both new and reworked printed circuit boards.
- Capability to manufacture and repair cables and harnesses.
- Competency in interpreting blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Ability to fabricate test boxes and construct or repair test consoles.
- 4-6 years of experience in the field with a high school degree or equivalent.
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience in directing and leading the work of others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency.
- Establish a standard production rate in the performance of maintenance, production, clerical, and other worker operations.
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
