Summary Description of Classification: Summary Description of Classification: Responsible for installation, testing, maintenance and repair of low voltage equipment and Fire Alarm Systems. Employee will be on call for fire alarm and/or weather emergencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Installs, test, maintain and repair Fire Alarm Systems.
Provide trainings and technical instructions for staff on the use of fire alarm related equipment.
Performs work orders as directed or assigned.
Maintains records of work performed and/or testing records as required.
Utilizes and maintains test equipment and materials in a responsible and reliable manner.
Monitors and maintains equipment inventory; advise supervisor of material and supply requirements.
Submits reports as need by the district.
Installs and performs maintenance and repair work on fire alarm systems.
Be on call and lead others in the absences of a supervisors.
Performs related duties as required or assigned by supervisors.
