Electronic Security Project Manager

A rapidly growing security integration company is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of commercial and industrial security projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex installations, manage customer relationships, and work with cutting-edge access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection technologies.

What You'll Do

• Manage all phases of electronic security projects from kickoff through completion
• Maintain overall project financial performance, scheduling, quality control, and customer satisfaction
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Oversee system programming, commissioning, testing, and project closeout activities
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
• Ensure installations comply with industry standards, codes, and customer requirements
• Support projects involving access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems
• Travel as required to support project execution

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing electronic security projects
• Proven experience with enterprise-level:
  • Access control systems
  • IP-based video management systems
  • Intrusion detection systems (fiber and copper-based)
• Strong networking and IT knowledge
• Experience leading technicians and subcontractor teams
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of applicable security industry standards and local codes
• Experience working in industrial or chemical plant environments is a plus
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office products
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle
