Description

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Electronic Maintenance Technician in Warner Robins, GA for a 7-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Electronic Maintenance Technician will repair, modify, test, and maintain complex electronic equipment and Electronic Warfare systems. This role includes fabricating electronic subassemblies, troubleshooting equipment to the component level, performing preventive maintenance, and using advanced electronic test instruments.

Required Skills

• Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field, or a military occupational specialty involving electronics.
• 3+ years of relevant electronics experience.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD security clearance.
• Experience fabricating, assembling, and disassembling electronic subassemblies.
• Ability to wire circuits, replace components, and repair electronic assemblies.
• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, or comparable test equipment.
• Ability to recognize basic electronic components.
• Ability to work from schematics, diagrams, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.
• Ability to follow test procedures, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Microsoft Word and Excel experience.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work onsite in Warner Robins, GA.

Preferred Skills

• Current active Secret DoD security clearance.
• Experience with Automatic Test Equipment in a laboratory environment.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting RF assemblies and subassemblies.
• Experience testing and tuning microwave assemblies.
• Electronic Warfare systems testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Soldering experience or familiarity.

What You’ll Do

• Fabricate, assemble, and disassemble electronic subassemblies.
• Wire circuits, replace components, and repair electronic assemblies.
• Troubleshoot electronic equipment to the component level.
• Perform preventive maintenance on special test equipment and test stations.
• Collect readings using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and digital multimeters.
• Conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing.
• Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments.
• Apply practical electronic theory to identify and correct equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate test, maintenance, and repair documentation.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–12:30 AM.
• Onsite in Warner Robins, GA.
• No travel required.
