    Overview:

In this role, you’ll join a collaborative, innovative team supporting the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and its global AFSOC Enhanced Mission Integration (AEMI) program.

     

    PSI is seeking an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Technician to play a key role on the Network/System Administration team—responsible for maintaining the AEMI Mobile Devices Manager and Mobile Content Manager used by all AFSOC Electronic Flight Bag users.

    Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:
    • Provide Tier 2 support to AFSOC Electronic Flight Bag program. 
    • Maintain AFSOC Mobile Device Manager (VMWare Workspace One). 
    • Create and maintain reports related to mobile devices. 
    • Provide training to Support Personnel on usage and management of mobile devices. 
    • Support acquisition, configuration, and deployment of mobile devices for AFSOC.  
    • Assist Help Desk and Tier 3 Engineers with device, connectivity, and application troubleshooting. 
    • Use Workspace One to deploy and manage applications for End User Devices. 
    • Manage Apple Business Manager account. 
    • Create, integrate, and test device and application workflows. 
    • Establish and maintain professional business relationships with users, and distributors.
    Minimum Requirements:
    • Security Clearance: Active T3 investigation, with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
    • Certification: DoD 8570/8140 IAT II (e.g., Security+ CE).
    • Experience:
      • 2-4 years experience with VMWare Workspace One to manage Mobile Devices (Android and Apple).
      • Knowledge and experience with Active Directory and Windows OS (2012 / 2016).
      • Experience supporting MS Windows based computers and applications.
      • General knowledge of how different IT systems interact.
      • Ability to learn functions and troubleshooting of new Windows and Mobile-based Applications.
      • Experience with other MDM platforms (MobileIron, Intune, BES, etc.) is highly preferred.
    Physical Demands:
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently as part of regular job duties.
