Position Summary

We are seeking an Electronics Assembly team member to support our manufacturing operations.

This hands-on position is responsible for installing electrical wiring and electronic components throughout the production process. The position requires electronic and mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow electrical diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and detailed work instructions.

The ideal candidate has previous industrial electronics experience and is comfortable assembling, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing electronic components in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical wiring and electronic components as part of the manufacturing and production process.
• Assemble electronic and electrical components according to specifications, schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and other production documentation.
• Troubleshoot electronic components and assemblies to identify potential defects or failures.
• Perform applicable solid-state board troubleshooting and repair.
• Use appropriate testing and measuring equipment to diagnose electronic and electrical issues.
• Safely operate applicable bench, hand, and shop tools.
• Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and conformance with applicable specifications.
• Identify and communicate production, quality, equipment, or safety concerns to appropriate leadership.
• Follow established production, quality, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow direction from the Group Leader, supervisor, or other designated leadership.
• Work independently with appropriate direction and collaboratively as part of a production team.
• Assist with other production and manufacturing activities as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant industrial, mining, manufacturing, or electronic assembly/technician experience.
• Experience with electronic troubleshooting and repair.
• Knowledge of solid-state board troubleshooting and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Electronic and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to safely operate applicable bench, hand, and shop tools.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal work instructions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work independently with appropriate direction and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Certified Electronics Technician (CET) or similar electronics-related certification.
• Previous experience with mining or industrial electronic equipment.
• Experience using electronic testing and diagnostic equipment.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, onsite position in a manufacturing environment.

Overtime may be required based on production and business needs. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable federal and state wage-and-hour requirements.

Work Environment

This position operates in an active manufacturing environment and may involve working around production equipment, electrical and electronic components, machinery, hand and power tools, noise, and other conditions commonly associated with industrial manufacturing.

Employees are required to follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing applicable job duties or working in designated areas.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described below are representative of those generally necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.

The position may require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking and may involve sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and using hands and fingers to handle wiring, electronic components, tools, and testing equipment.

The position requires the manual dexterity, visual abilities, and hand-eye coordination necessary to safely assemble, install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic components.
