Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will support R&D projects by on-time execution of SEM imaging and sample prep requests.
- The candidate will be expected to work independently.
- Communication and collaboration skills are needed to ensure maximum throughput is achieved in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on SEM experience is a must-have;familiarity with FIB is preferred, along with having some basic microscope troubleshooting skills.
- Experience: 2–5 years’experience in electron microscopy, preferably in a QC/R&D environment, or someone who has less experience but is trainable.
- Good problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision.
- Ability to hands-on operate Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) is required (2+ years of experience).
- Ability to operate Focused Ion Beam (FIB) is preferred.
- Preferred BS Degree in STEM with basic knowledge in semiconductor.
- Familiarity with characterization techniques in general.
- Expected to work independently with minimum supervision as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to work on the 2nd shift most days with some weekend commitment needed occasionally.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider those with HS Diploma who have the required work experience.
