Description
Accentuate Staffing has partnered with an innovative technology manufacturing company seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join its growing production team on 1st shift. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a precision manufacturing environment where quality, attention to detail, and technical expertise directly contribute to the production of highly specialized electronic and mechanical products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with precision assembly, soldering, and microscope-based work in an electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing environment. Successful individuals will possess exceptional hand dexterity, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to interpret technical documentation while maintaining high-quality standards in a production setting.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform precision electro-mechanical assembly of cables, subassemblies, and finished products using microscopes and specialized assembly tools.
- Assemble, align, inspect, test, and verify products according to established procedures, quality standards, and work instructions.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of production equipment to support operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to support new product introductions and resolve assembly-related challenges.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives, technical documentation updates, failure analysis, and product rework activities as needed.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in electronics, electro-mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, medical device, military technical training, or a related field; equivalent technical education considered.
- Recent hands-on soldering experience required; IPC-A-610 certification or formal solder training strongly preferred.
- Proven experience performing detailed assembly work under a microscope and handling small, intricate components with excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, technical documentation, and assembly instructions.
- Experience using electronic and mechanical test equipment in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with knowledge of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement practices preferred.
- Candidates with prior lead technician or team leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
