Electromechanical Service Engineer, Customer Sites

Your impact

Where you’ll work

Multiple U.S. regions (West Coast, East Coast, Southwest, Southeast) with frequent travel throughout North America and Mexico. Expect periodic on‑call duty outside standard office hours.

About the team

Join our Global Customer Service organization across AMCAS, EMEA, and APAC. In AMCAS, you’ll report to the Customer Support Manager. Depending on customer needs, you’ll operate solo or team up with colleagues—serving as our “eyes and ears” to maintain safety, performance, and strong relationships while turning feedback into structural product improvements.

Core responsibilities

  • Travel to customer facilities (System Integrators and End‑Users).
  • Install and commission equipment; perform diagnostics and repairs.
  • Respond to service tickets and complete accurate visit reports.
  • Document all installations and repairs and secure customer sign‑off.
  • Recommend spare parts, verify inventory, and support parts planning.
  • Inspect and supervise delivered products for quality and compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar field role; alternatively, 1 year in a manufacturing position with AmbaFlex may substitute for the 2 years.
  • Mechanical skill set strongly preferred; eager to learn and expand capabilities.
  • Fluent English communication (oral and written) to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and travel demands.
  • Customer‑centric mindset with strong time‑management.
