    Image Industries is hiring a hands-on supervisor to run day-to-day operations in our Equipment Design & Development (EDD) department. If you thrive on leading by example, streamlining workflow, and delivering on customer commitments, this role is for you.

    What you’ll tackle

    • Lead and coordinate the daily work of EDD technicians, aligning assignments to production priorities and monitoring productivity and focus.
    • Remove bottlenecks and escalate issues early to protect delivery dates and throughput.
    • Oversee equipment builds, repairs, and rebuilds; shepherd work orders end-to-end and ensure timely, accurate ERP job closure.
    • Confirm that all required shipment documentation is complete and that the work area stays organized, clean, and safe.
    • Perform final inspections, verify compliance with quality standards, and partner with the Quality team to resolve manufacturing issues.
    • Coach the team on standard work and drive improvements to manufacturing processes.
    • Keep production supplied: ensure technicians have parts and tools, report shortages, maintain accurate local inventory, and assist with counts and organization.

    • Keep stakeholders informed: coordinate with Customer Service on status, alert management to delays, and support Engineering/Operations on new builds and prototype testing.
    • Champion safety: enforce PPE use, maintain a tidy workspace, and report any concerns immediately.
