What will you build?
Switchgear and breaker units—assembled from mechanical components to exact engineering drawings and customer specifications using master copy, spec sheet, front elevation, and WO files.
How will you do it?
- Use hand and power tools safely and maintain them for optimal performance.
- Run in-process inspections and apply standard work to safeguard quality; surface risks early.
- Spot and track part shortages so the line keeps moving.
- Handle ship-prep tasks, including splitting gear, to get product out on time.
- Pitch in on root-cause analysis for engineering changes; help correct discrepancies.
- Assist a small team at the direction of the lead assembler/supervisor.
- Perform final in-process inspections and mechanical adjustments for switchgear.
- Model safety-first behavior; keep your area clean and organized.
What do you need to bring?
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 2–4 years in a manufacturing setting; experience with medium-to-large metal enclosures or electrical switchgear is a plus.
- Comfort converting fractions/decimals and metric/imperial while reading a tape measure.
- Clear English communication (written and verbal) and basic computer literacy.
- Confidence with a variety of hand/power tools and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Bonus points
- MES exposure; Oracle familiarity preferred.

Where and how will you work?
- Safety-sensitive role in a temperature-controlled manufacturing/industrial environment with occasional outdoor work.
- PPE required: safety shoes, hard hats/bump caps, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses (as needed), and respirators when required.
- Work from step and A-frame ladders; operate at heights up to about 20 ft using lift and fall-protection equipment.
Can you meet the physical demands?
- Keep balance and agility while walking, standing, crouching, and climbing stairs/ladders.
- Bend at the waist and knees; reach and extend arms/hands in all directions.
- Stand and walk continuously.
- Frequently use both arms above shoulder height and at full reach.
- Lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Use hand and power tools frequently.
