Electromechanical Maintenance Technician

Precision International LLC is currently searching for a full-time Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to diagnose causes of electrical, electronic or mechanical malfunction/failure utilizing diagnostic/metering device or by other appropriate means. Identify all parts or equipment requiring repair and rebuild/replace defective mechanisms or parts and adjust/calibrate for proper operation. 

Candidate should be able to service, repair, maintain, adjust, calibrate, troubleshoot, rebuild, fabricate, modify, disassemble, reassemble, remove or relocate machines, equipment, motors, controls or panels.

  • Hourly Pay: Starting grade C. $23.95/hr. Qualified applicants may be eligible for grade B. $25.45/hr and grade C. $27.37/hr.

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of electrical circuitry, electronics and mechanical principles to properly install, service and maintain equipment
  • Skills in fabrication operations including welding, brazing, soldering, flame cutting, saw cutting, filing, drilling, tapping, threading, grinding and scraping
  • Ability to operate any material handling and other equipment such as, but not limited to jacks, hoists, chains, cables, ropes or winches

Responsibilities

  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all equipment according to PM schedule or as directed by supervisor.
  • Ensure all appropriate inspection points are checked
  • Record inspection findings on appropriate documents and enter/submit data for processing
  • Report any worn, damaged or otherwise questionable components, mechanisms or faulty operations to supervisor
  • Load, unload, store, setup and dispose of all lubricants, coolants, oils and other waste liquids
  • Maintain clean and safe liquid storage area, practice good housekeeping and observe all safety precautions
  • Observe prescribed safety regulations
  • Update all files, schematics, blueprints or drawings if changes have been made that affect their accuracy
