Pay: $25.62/Hour

Duration: 5+ months

100% onsite – Shift: M-F 8am to 5pm (flexible)

  • Ability or willingness to work in non-ergonomic working position (not usually - not more than 10% of the time)
 
Requirements:
  • Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology
  • 5 years of experience (flexible) assembling electromechanical devices and/or electrical components
  • Have actual experience in the responsibilities listed below
 
Description:
  • We are searching for a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technician to perform a wide variety of assembling, testing, and packaging tasks.
  • The candidate will be responsible for completing several of the production-related tasks that enable our team to deliver these solutions to our customers in a timely manner.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Assembling and testing complex devices consisting of numerous mechanical and electrical components
  • Building cable harnesses and other electrical assemblies
  • Assembling complex kits using custom packaging
  • Working with engineers to help manage the inventory for several high-demand products
  • Assisting with packaging/skidding items for shipment to customer sites
  • Assisting with set-up and tear-down of large automation systems
 
Key Attributes for Success:
  • Experience with precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Ability to read and follow a wiring schematic
  • Experience crimping connectors, soldering, drilling, and tapping
